 | Amy H. Carter
Editor
Ironically, Amy was one of those whiny teenagers who lamented the lack of anything interesting for kids to do in Brunswick. Having since come to her senses, Amy is proud to be a native still in residence. Amy began her journalism career with The Brunswick News in 1989. She has edited Golden Isles Magazine since its inception in 2006. She lives in the same historic Brunswick neighborhood where she grew up, sharing a 1940s cottage-in-progress with her husband, Sam, and son, John Michael, who is her spare time.
